Special Classes Indoor Cycling: This 45 minute cardio class is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Instructors take you through intervals of hills, jumps and flat roads. The resistance and speed is up to each individual. Bike shorts are recommended. T-shirts are required. Water bottles are required. Members may sign up at the front desk on the day of the class (in person or by phone). All riders must check in with instructor 10 minutes prior to class. Beginners will be fitted to a bike.
Yoga: The ancient postures and breathing techniques of yoga rejuvenate, balance, strengthen and tone all systems of the body. Yoga is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and helps develop radiant physical health and inner harmony. Pilates: Pilates Mat Classes focus on abdominal strength, breath and whole-body awareness. It is a safe workout for individuals of all fitness levels . Strong Able Bodies: This special class designed for our senior members is a Pilates-based class. Participants will build muscle strength and endurance (core musculature as well as extremities). There will be an emphasis on balance and posture as well as muscle and spinal flexibility. Aqua-Aerobics: Aqua-Aerobics is a great way to get cardiovascular fitness without the stress on your bones and joints. Our classes have both shallow water and deep water exercises that help you to work your heart. These classes are good for the beginning exerciser as well as the experienced one.
